Before creating any Zap, you must first:
- Create the conversion event in LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Specifically select "Conversions API" as the tracking method
- Choose "Zapier" as the source platform
- Only then build your Zapier workflow
Our client had meticulously constructed their Zap between HubSpot and LinkedIn, yet their forms remained stubbornly "unverified." They had inadvertently reversed the implementation sequence, trying to build the integration without first establishing the conversion foundation in LinkedIn.
